Eventually One Dreams the Real Thing

A girl goes into the woods
a journey with two maps
bringing together what is amazing
delights & shadows
bright dead things
the green of sunset
the savagery of bone
the whole motion a wild surmise
parts of a world
perennial forest primeval
the holy forest

Visible Signs

Stay, illusion
Strike sparks where I live
Embers on the stairs
The burning particles drunk with light
The redshifting web
Rose sky country intensifications
Fire to fire
Palm frond with its throat cut
Bright stain
That peculiar affirmative a hunger
What we ache for
At the table of the unknown
