In position beside the bunny’s litter box, we have Husband. Just watch him go—man, is he quick with that scoop. A rabbit ball takes a bad hop on the linoleum, but Wife goes for the grounder and throws it out! In the outfield, front and side yards, it’s Wife again. Those soft hands can intercept anything: dog droppings from the neighborhood poopetrators, cat turds found behind the mound where the maple tree used to be, even a few human errors. But now, alongside home plate is Husband, scrubbing toilets and poised for a double with the plunger. I tell you, this team is having a very strong season.
